MEET THE HOU SEK QUEEN: Yes, it's Children's Day and the biggest kid of The Theatre Practice will be closing the year with her own Recess Time! Jian Hong loves cooking for large numbers of people, having prepared food for the Weiya parties for so many years. With many fond memories of her grandma's cooking, Jian Hong wants to serve delicious, home-style cooking that celebrates the complexities in Chinese-style cooking. As she puts it, "Chinese-style - because it's rojak-style, something like Chinese food but don't really know where it's from! As long as it tastes good!"
