MEET THE HOU SEK KING: Chef Imran began his culinary journey more than 20 years ago! Always an artsy kid, he initially studied multimedia and infocomm but soon found that playing with tastes, smells and sights was a far better way to express himself as an artist! Working his way up from dishwasher to head chef, he has worked in restaurants all over the world including Kuwait, Saudi Arabia and Oman.
Chef Imran's all-vegetarian Recess Time menu is a reflection of his love of pushing boundaries and challenging people's ideas of eating. In fact, he doesn't believe in having a speciality and instead loves to learn the history of new cusines. He believes that "if you are open to all these different influences, you are a better chef!"
