Sloshing with sounds of the ocean and with fluid movements from its eight actors drawn from across the Chinese-speaking world, All The World's A Sea is a mesmerising net of interlocking fables. They all tackle how humans act in watershed moments of their lives.

《一切世界海》剧中人物的共同点在于，他们都被自身的某个“劣根”所困扰，渴望挣脱束缚，重新找回自我价值。每个人对自己的“根”有着不同的记忆，也就有了多元化的身份认同。这些零碎的记忆，可以被视为干扰官方主流意识的声音，提醒着我们，身份并非单一的概念。

The Theatre Practice's latest production All The World's A Sea unpacks themes of identity and displacement against the backdrop of a continually changing landscape, much like the relentless ebb and flow of water. And it does this with numerous inventive stories in a confident script borne out of a collaborative process.

I have not been so moved by a local performance for such a long time. The performance ebbed and flowed like currents against the shores of our minds. It has everything for everyone. The universal truths are revealed in the individual vignettes that overlapped subtly through a deft directorial hand...The humour and pacing of the vignettes carried the audience through the crest and trough of waves, while the Kun performance roared above as if to conduct them to speak the universal truths of the sea.
