The Little Windmills Take The Stage!
A Message from Artistic Director
After two years of online performances, The Little Windmills Take The Stage! makes its return to the theatre, a place that now feels familiar, yet unfamiliar at the same time!
During the pandemic, we had to create new digital spaces and storytelling formats. Yet, these unknowns have also allowed our children to showcase creativity and resilience beyond our imagination.
The Little Windmills Take The Stage! is more than just a yearly performance for us "big kids" to watch. It is a precious opportunity for our children to express themselves, and for us to hear what they have to say. This year's performances are all themed around secrets. So… what have our children kept hush-hush? Could it be about Ma? Pa? Kor or Jie?
Jokes aside, the interactions between family members really were the inspiration behind today's performances, and the mysterious "secrets" refer to the small moments in our day-to-day lives that go unnoticed. Yet, what we can dismiss as mundane trivialities are actually important parts of the warm and nurturing world we have created for our children!
This world is the work of many individuals — supportive family members, tenacious teachers, and the children themselves, who have brought us here together. Thank you for choosing us to be part of your world.
