Between the 1950s and 60s, Nini lived with her family in one of the shophouses situated along Upper Changi Road, together with many interesting people and adorable animals.
In the eyes of young Nini, the simple kampong life was a wondrous paradise filled with magical adventures and fun-filled surprises. As she grew up, the Changi Village that she loved started to vanish, but the precious memories of her childhood days will always stay captured in her heart and within the pages of her graphic novel.
Nini in Changi Village is adapted from the autobiographical graphic novel of the same name created by local cartoonist, Fanny Lai.
