Just Keep Swimming, Just Keep Swimming
Just Keep Swimming, Just Keep Swimming begins as a call for memories to surface. Voices recall moments of fascination, encounter and change. Songs and fragments from personal histories surface alongside them, weaving into a living field of sound.
Gathering casually around the Wayang Stage at Empress Lawn, audiences are invited to listen, wander and participate. At the centre, an interviewer and an artist share a conversation about mentorship and inheritance — touching on forms, technique and craft, but also the quieter influences artists carry with them. Gradually, the voices dissolve into music: fragments of dialogue mixed into a curated dance beat that ripples through the space.
Stories drift past like currents. Can you hear them? Some are light and fleeting; others carry deeper traces of who we become. Here, memory moves like water — always in motion, always returning.
Just Keep Swimming, Just Keep Swimming is created by theatre-maker Kuo Jian Hong, with live sonic composition by multidisciplinary artist NONFORM.
